I'm inclined to think of art as a transformational, creative and political energy that has sensorial, optical and mental consequences. A door that grants us access to new channels of perception in order to submit accepted systems to new questions.
This is the conceptual direction in which I try to develop my artistic practice, chiefly by means of the installations and sculptures born out of information, of images published in the mass media, of architectural elements and objects of popular culture that I choose because of their representative and symbolic possibilities.
During the creative process I apply recontextualisation strategies and games of scale, and thus transform objects. Making the works, I enjoy experimenting with different materials and evoking new representations.
